Upgrading servers

Pablo Villalba March 1 2010

Before launching our premium services, we’re upgrading our servers to have more capacity and lower response times.

Teambox is having a great response from customers, and we want to prepare for the growth to come by scaling now. We will do this by clusterizing our database servers, and adding more CPU power to the application servers.

During the upgrade, our servers will be working slower than usual. No downtime is expected.

If you experience any problem, please report them in our support page.

Thanks!

As i understand it only the initial TEAMBOX 1 code is available here http://github.com/micho/teambox Please advise if/when the most up-to-date TEAMBOX 2 code will be available to the OS community
  • That repository is, in fact, Teambox 2. Teambox 1 is somewhere else, deprecated and unsupported. So get the newest version :)

Is it possible to still download TB code and self host. This was possible for the TB 1 release, but has since disappeared for the TB 2 release
  • Of course it's possible! You can still use teambox for free online (up to 3 owned projects, unlimited if you're invited to other users' projects), and host your own version (http://www.teambox.com/community/installing).
