Getting Things Done

A tour of Teambox 4

Teambox 4 has just been released officially, so we decided to put together a video explaining all the new features.

Pablo walks us through the new interface, desktop-fast experience, new Tasks views and Quick Add buttons in this 5-minute video. Enjoy, and share it with others if you want to help us get the word out there!

Tweet about #teambox4!

    Congratulations, this is really great!

Anything to say about the upgrade process for all of us using the community version?

  • Stiven

    tremendo Teambox 4
    congratulations!

  • Mhoggin

    Better than imagined.

  • Chuck

much better!  I canceled our annual since our team found the first version more difficult to use than email with the tasks/conversations being mixed up. With this new version, we may have to try you out again. Love how clean it is. Can we get a demo to try it out? We never received our refund. :(

contact Josh@teambox.com and we will be sure to take care of you asap! Thanks for your loyalty and support – Dan, CEO, Teambox

ladies, please, please get your hands on the batch uploader! it´s such an easy to implement technology in any way, why does this, to my mind crucial feature, need so long being implemented?? :( – nonetheless: good work so far! so please don´t misunderstand ;)

Can’t wait for you to launch! Two quick questions/suggestions…

    1) Will there be DropBox integration?
    2) Is there any way that you can add an option to assign tasks to multiple people? As this is a collaborative environment, very rarely do we have projects that are strictly assigned to one person.

    Thanks!

    • Pau Valiente

To be able to create groups or assign tasks to various people would be essential.

Excellent stuff! I can’t wait to get working on it..

  • Reinaldo Opus

    Congrats for that!

w00t congrats on all the hard work over the last couple of months!

  • Sarah

Love this version! Great UI and awesome structure.
    Just a few questions:
    How to print tasks?
    How to filter tasks?
Where is time tracking, as shown on the video?
There are some problems with gDocs too. I can’t attach any documents to it.
Tasks are not shown on calendar too.

I don’t see source of this new version on github.com/teambox. Teambox 4 not become open source ?

    • Anonymous

Yes, it would be a shame to leave all the Open Source / Community users dangling like this…!

    • http://saveyourcall.com/ Eric Anderson

Yes, I’m also interested in if you will continue to make Teambox open source. Of course the previous version works well but would love to get the new sexy UI. :)

If only you could view tasks in a three-column list like the beautiful conversations list.

  • Maggie

I like it .. thank you very much !!!
Pablo, I’m creating a manual [in spanish for my team ] It would be awesome if you have any material that can share with me !!
Thank you very much for everything !

That’s awesome, are you based in Spain? Maybe we can help you with it, being Spanish ourselves :)
