Development Lobster!

I used to always lose my keys, so I a long time ago I bought a giant lobster keychain so that it would be obvious If I had my keys are not.
So in Teambox we are getting to the point where we have two deployments at every moment: one in our local computers for development, and one in a shared server which we use to test the app in a real-world scenario.
Sometimes you’re changing stuff in the app and you refresh the browser to see the changes. But if you mistakenly reload the shared server, you won’t see the changes and never know why, thinking there’s an error in your code.
We keep forgetting when we’re in development but what can we do?
