Teambox App for iPhone Now Available

The moment many of you have been waiting for has arrived. The long awaited Teambox App for iPhone is now available on the App Store. We recently launched Teambox for iPad, and many of you have been asking for an iPhone version. We’ve been listening, and today we’re announcing our brand new iPhone app.

 

With Teambox’s fully-featured apps, you can access all of the tools you need to get your job done when on the move or working from remote offices.

Some features you will find are:

  • Access projects, conversations, tasks, pages and people.
  • Intuitive touch interface.
  • Recent Activity view.
  • Create and manage tasks.

Teambox Supports I GTD Conference

GTD is an acronym which, as you may know, comes from the expression Getting Things Done, a personal productivity method proposed by David Allen in his book of this name.

Next Saturday the ” I  GTD CONFERENCE” in Spain will take place on October 22nd from 10am to 2pm in ContecBCN – Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes, 610 – Barcelona.

Teambox at SIMO Network 2011

For the marketer, online collaboration supposes a great revolution and brings greatly benefits. From customer stories to my own use cases, online collaboration tools help any marketing department improve their efforts. The reasons why are:
Marketing tools

- Communication and internal feedback: Hold conversations with clients or colleagues without having to use e-mail. Many agencies have contacts around the world, communication becomes slightly difficult without the use of a tool in where conversations are stored in a central location. Picture a brainstorming between several members of a department. People are located across the globe and it becomes difficult to get everyone together at a time where people are at their best. Feedback process should be something that makes work easier, not more complicated. With a centralized tool is easier to communicate.

I know, many of you are thinking right now, “Well, I’m sure that hundreds of companies have over 1000 friends, this isn’t news…” . Well, I totally agree with you, but I felt it was the perfect excuse to share how we in Teambox understand a direct channel of communication such as Twitter.

We are in love with this communication system. It is one of Teambox’s cornerstones. We’re even using a system of communication with @ mentions quite similar to Twitter.

It was almost 18 months ago when we opened our main profile on Twitter (later there came the Japanese and Spanish versions) and we are so happy to have done it.

During this time we´ve received thousands of proposals, suggestions and opinions from all over the world, that have guided us in the process of developing our software (675 last month alone!). Being able to help those making their first steps with the application or develop a feature voted by the Teambox community is a great feeling!

Hi, everyone! August just arrived, and many of you will go out of the daily routine and to take a well-deserved rest. After returning from vacation most of us have a new found clarity, are ready for new challenges and are motivated to reach our personal and professional aims.

In this post, I want to share 5 ways you can take advantage of the few days before your vacation. It is during this time you can help set up your return and pave the way to productivity to couple the powers of rest. Here we go!

1. Planning and prioritizing. Before going away, create a list of urgent tasks that you must finish. It is common to slow down before vacation, but to go away without any lingering concerns, you should stay on top of your responsibilities. Plan a meeting with your boss so that they know where you have left things and what may need coverage in your absence.
