Teambox in Facebook – You comment, we listen!

We admit it! In Teambox we love to be in contact with our users; that’s why our Facebook page is one of our favorite social networks. Constantly bursting with curiosity, we enter everyday into our profile to see if we have comments, replies, new fans or Likes. As we did last week with our Twitter account post, today we want to thank you for being our fan as we have achieved more than # 1000 fans.

During the last months we have been able to share with you exclusive images from the upcoming Teambox 4, the announcement of new mobile applications and our sunny views from the Barcelona office. It is a pleasure for us to share updates with everyone that is behind the other side of the screen.

Teambox App for iPhone Now Available

The moment many of you have been waiting for has arrived. The long awaited Teambox App for iPhone is now available on the App Store. We recently launched Teambox for iPad, and many of you have been asking for an iPhone version. We’ve been listening, and today we’re announcing our brand new iPhone app.

 

With Teambox’s fully-featured apps, you can access all of the tools you need to get your job done when on the move or working from remote offices.

Some features you will find are:

  • Access projects, conversations, tasks, pages and people.
  • Intuitive touch interface.
  • Recent Activity view.
  • Create and manage tasks.

We will update our iPhone App with more features, like local caching for a better and faster user experience, or search across projects.

Teambox Supports I GTD Conference

GTD is an acronym which, as you may know, comes from the expression Getting Things Done, a personal productivity method proposed by David Allen in his book of this name.

Next Saturday the ” I  GTD CONFERENCE” in Spain will take place on October 22nd from 10am to 2pm in ContecBCN – Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes, 610 – Barcelona.

Project Management and collaboration for the University

When we enroll into a university course to obtain a bachelor, master or any other degree, we are starting to prepare ourselves for the professional demands of our future jobs. Nowadays to be successful it is essential to make use of working tools that will help us manage projects and optimize our time.

At a higher-level education, the usage of collaborative tools has emerged as one of the most efficient methods to improve internal communication and to promote teamwork between work groups. Performance boost

Some of you may have noticed a performance degradation during the last weeks. The truth is that though we were aware of this but our focus has been entirely on the next release of Teambox (you can see a couple of sneak preview captures in our Facebook page) and we didn’t spend enough resources on fixing the performance issue.

However, we know that although our next release of Teambox is really important we must always keep a reliable and fast service, so we managed to deviate some resource from Teambox 4 and  speed up teambox.com a bit. The results are astonishing.
