New year’s eve party rule
With every new year comes a desire to change. We resolve to do something we have been putting off. We search for new opportunities. We go about the business of reviewing the past and planning for what is next. While it is also true that many of these resolutions fall flat (just look at the attendance at a health club in January Vs. April), when a resolution clicks with our true goals we tend to embed them in our daily behavior.

Today I want to talk about the past. Well also the future. See at Teambox we set something up a while ago and have not really made it publicly known. Well, now I feel, it is time to share.

We have learned to play in a new way online. Even my Uncle and my sister-in-law who are not the first to jump on the social interweb bandwagon have a facebook. We all know how, even if we opt to be cool and not join in, so I do not need to go into great details. Bottom line, part of social interaction is now a running stream of what you want to share with others on Zuckerberg’s mega-site. To solidify this impact on our universe, Time made him the their Man of The Year.
So it is written, to be a part of the socialverse, the fun with friends stream, you get a Facebook. Over 550 million people agree, and soon it will be over 1 billion.
So while this is amazing for grandma getting pics of the babies and Bands and DJ’s promoting their gigs, it does not do a whole lot to make the business community more productive. That said, there is a lesson learned and this is where the Procial Network kicks in.
Imagine this:
Everyone you work with, inside your company and out, is somehow connected to you with the ability to delegate efforts, collaborate on ideas, edit content, manage projects, address issues or just update on what you are up to.
Everyone you work with is able to access this content from RSS, email, mobile apps, text and anything else they come up with in this 21st centurty (telepathy posts?).

The way you work is forever changed as you now can eliminate almost all of the time wasted waiting to get updates.
